Linking to BlackDog

Download any image to use on your web site.  Please do not link directly to the images on BlackDog.  Calling an image from our site to yours ties up our server, slows everything down, and costs us visitors and money.

Please put a text link in addition to the link for the banner image.  That actually helps us out with the search engines!  Here's the code to set up a text link:

How to download an image:

• From your web browser (upper left corner) click on "File" then "Save" or "Save As" and copy the image to your hard drive.
• The other way to do it: 
  • PC users -- right click on the image and select "Save" or "Save As."
  • MAC users -- click on the image and wait until you get a pop-up menu.  Choose "Save This Image As." 

Then upload the image to your own server and display it from there.  Thanks!

Remember:  Linking to BlackDog does not mean that BlackDog is giving permission to use the images, games, ideas, stories, or anything else on BlackDog on any other web site.  In fact, if you see someone who has taken things from BlackDog to use on another site, you can feel sure that BlackDog doesn't know about it.  Please let us know where and when you saw BlackDog's stuff so we can do something about it.  Thanks for helping.
